Want to know Jesus?
Scripture is clear that every person is a sinner and separated from God: “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God” (Rom. 3:23).
Because we are sinners, we deserve nothing more than death and eternal punishment - “For the wages of sin is death…” (Rom. 6:23).
Yet, the “good news”, the Gospel of Jesus Christ, is that God offers redemption and forgiveness through His Son. While Romans 6:23 begins with “bad news," it finishes with the greatest news: “But the gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord.”
In order to be saved, you must believe in the work of Jesus Christ and repent of your sins, trusting in Christ as your Savior: “If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved” (Rom. 10:9).
The Bad News - we are great sinners
The Good News - we have a great Savior
“But God shows His love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us” (Romans 5:8)
